Set out for a long dogwalk and ended up at snow lake with two other pinheads from seattle. The chair peak basin was an inferno, layers coming off every 20 minutes. The slope below chair peak had a soft suncrust, but the real skiing was into snow lake. 20 plus inches of pretty dry pow made for some great laps. We met another group and had lunch on the lake somebody even had a nice pinot. The BC at alpy was totally tracked but the snow seemed to be pretty nice though. From what I could tell on the way out. The dog was having a hard time in the pow,but loves the hardpack. Super sunny all day.
