Big Sky - 2/14, 2 hours and done

After an epic 4 days, it all came crashing down today. Howling winds, blowing snow, and white-out conditions all morning. Almost every chair wind impacted, even the mammoth Ramcharger lift going on wind delays. So, weather was a 0 out of 2.

The snow was wind-scoured in the open and deep and good in the trees and leeward sides of the runs. Scary skiing in the trees with the amount of snow crashing off the trees and broken branches falling all around. Based on just snow, 2 out of 3, but after 2 hours we worked our way back to the condo and called it a day. As things often happen, the weather is starting to break as I type this.

In spite of today, a really great week here made especially sweet as our home mountain has been in recovery mode from a particularly nasty Pineapple Express.
