A very very nice sunny spring day in February with screaming groomers and a mostly empty hill. 48 mph on GV's Pro Course, followed by pivot slip turns all the way down Middle Ferk's, followed by a 47 mph scream thru Upper Arwine's into the Deer Fly cutoff and very nice soft turns in the sun to the bottom. Big kudos to the groomers as the overlap-free corduroy was outstanding!!!Â
A massive ice sheet to the back (west) traverse atop C6 was well hidden behind a new patrol fence. One lap thru Hamburger and then a quick lap through DF was our off-piste exploration as 12" of rain + 5" old-new wasn't doing the trick. Despite this off-piste doom-and-gloom, the resort survived the double-whammy pineapple in fine shape. 25% off $99 = $80.32 for a buddy pass via mysterious math. Full A Lot + 2 buses was pretty much it. Gotta luv those bluebird days as #1 celebrated a birthday and a return from injury.

Me guess 25% off $99 is $74.25. Add in Pierce County sales tax (7.9%) gets you $80.12?
