Blackcomb/Whistler half and half 02/12

Special day, nice and sunny, #1 had a big day, light crowds, great groomers, great off piste in the right places, morning Blackcomb, afternoon Whistler, great views, Peak to Creek with #1 skiing great - P2C had lots of ice skating quality sections especially at the bottom, but with edges and sun - oh well nice. Fav for me was Heavenly Daze bumps during the lunch break on Blackcomb, #1 enjoyed many lines on Crystal (and her lunch at Crystal Hut). Fun day, big vert for old me. Ski to the base from Whistler is not as nice as on Blackcomb - why? So got two T2B runs today. Some snow in the forecast, but the sun styro has been fun.
Other - #1's lunch at Crystal Hut was Baileys fruit/choc/whipped cream (nasty!) waffle, bite I got was tasty. Dinner? Best Mexican restaurant in the Village - The Mexican Corner! Ouch good!

Best Mexican in BC I'm sure...Not many good Mexican places in the frozen north! I hope you get some fresh soon.
