5 outa 5 Big Sky - 2/10

I know Eskinmo already posted, but damn, today deserves a second post. 8 inches of new 7 degree dry powder and the sun came out right as lifts opened. Stayed cold and clear most of the day. Spent the morning in the trees on Ramcharger and Thunder Wolf (queue the AC/DC, THUNDER). After lunch, headed to Shedhorn and Dakota. Still really epic skiing there in the afternoon, even though it had been skied quite a bit. When the line on Dakota got too long (yes, a line in Big Sky), we headed to Challenger to finish the day. Surprisingly, not the best snow on the mountain, but still really good and no one on the lift.

I must confess, the strong cocktail and hot tub after skiing might be affecting my typing, so those of you who can decipher a ddk report will do just fine. Missed my bro, Broken Kenny.

We skied 5 Shedhorn / Dakota 's as it opened....I ' m not kidding people were stunned.....into speechlessness ...bluebird Pow of that quality on a quiet open is a very rare thing anymore.
