February 3, 2020 Squaw Valley "ddk Photo"

The day started last night with the top of Squaw at 2 degrees and 3" of new powder. The packing lot was empty at 8am so it was a short walk to the Gold Coast Funitel(gondola). Everyone in the gondola was wearing everything that they could ski with. The temperature got up to 20 degrees but the wind caused some of the upper lifts closed. Siberian, Headwall and KT-22 were running but few riders.

I rode Exhibition , Far East, Squaw Creek and Red Dog. The top of the Red Dog lift you go right and see the picture I call "ddk Photo". Last year ddk skied at Squaw Valley for 2 days around April 18, 2019. I think he had some great spring runs in what could be called "Bump Heaven". The KT-22 lift goes to the right side of the shaded. Also to the far right of the photo is the Headwall Express. Also on the far left side of the photo is the Olympic Lady lift.
