Well the Alpine wasn't really open at Whistler, but they did open the T Bar up and that kept a few hundred hard cores Happy. I got a lap down the lift line in powder that was essentially untouched all year, and it was deep. Then I took the Spicy traverse under the whole ridge, over to deep and heavy settled powder in Boomer Bowl. Lots of work, but lots of fun...Always glad when the steeps don't fall on top of me, and when I don't lose an edge in a bad spot. That was the highlight of the day. Beautiful blue sky, and a smooth ride back down on Franz's. Leaving tonight to beat the storm.
