Walked onto the gondola at 9 am with 14" of freshie on the ground. Another 8" during the day provided free refills. It was stormy all day and we endured poor visibility and moderate winds as we lapped GV and Rex, always attentive to drifts and pillows that gave it up if you hit them with enough force. Not too bad!!! This storm produced the deepest snow of the season and early runs skier's left of C6 were very smooth! I was happy that I had my 188 Soul 7s powder strapped to my bindings as we stopped to help folks find their gear a couple of times.

A real plus for today was the very good coverage atop the Campbell Basin ridge lines -- aahhhhh -- nothing like a big ol' wet dump to help stick things together. You could ski wherever you wanted on the upper mountain today provided you had local knowledge and avoided the tree wells. We maintained the buddy-in-sight system today as the storm raged when we finally were driven off by 3 pm as the snow level rose as predicted.
