The ski resorts near Salt Lake City have another good ski season. Every time we leave Seattle our ski friends are happy because then the snow season arrives in the Cascades. Thing are on schedule. Thank you.
We spent Saturday night in Boise, but there was a "black out" day on Sunday for Bogus Basin. Ooouch. The drive from Boise to SLC was in a snow storm. The number of vehicles that drove/skidded off the pavement and into the field and ended upside down was numerous. The state patrol had a long day as did the tow folks. We drove the campervan and it was fine at a slower speed.
Oh yeah - skiing at Park City today. Sunny with 3" powder overnight. We put on sunscreen and followed the sun. The groomers were great, and you could ski off piste if you were careful. No lift lines. Sounds like another sunny day on Tuesday. You get spoiled with driving about 30 miles from SLC to 7 different large resorts. I like this area.
