Storm skiing at Crystal 12/21/19
« on: 12/19/19, 05:29 PM »

Heading to Crystal this weekend but only bought 1 day pass (season pass is to Snoqualmie). Was hoping to tour on Saturday but getting worried there is going to be a lot of storm slab. Looking at the west slope of East Peak: are the trees to the north skiable or are they too dense? In general the slope looks pretty mellow, but it would be nice if there was a treed option instead of diving straight into the open slope.

Not sure if this is the way to use this forum--corrections are appreciated. Thanks for any beta!

Best,
David
