Mendocino County, Mendocino Pass. The county plows to about 4500 ft. The peak is around 6300. Lots of pow and lots of gun shooting locals that were very friendly and helpful.
Very little skiing in my two winters here, I am busy starting a new career. I carry the burden of my unsatisfied ski addiction all the snowless days. A deep malaise inside, a sad longing. An empty lostness. Now I have seen the pain of distance from mountain bliss.

I had to deal with some disgusting 'travail' stuff last weekend and spent Friday and Saturday whimsically staring at Mt Rainier in beautiful weather.
