December 15, 2019, Snoqualmie Pass

Amazing work brushing the hill this summer and grooming the minimal snow so smooth this week! Thanks Summit West for giving me my first lift assisted turns this season. Off and on snow flurries today with a small crowd.

Heard a lot of complaining up there, but managed to ski mostly untrafficed low angle powder until 1:30. First run down the steeps was excellent. Groomers were mobbed, but everything else was a pleasant surprise (provided you leaned back when it got hollow).

A moderately aggressive opening that turned out far better than expected.
