Columbia Traverse, 44 Day Attempt, Spring 2019

Spent 4 days with my friends near the end of their 44 day voyage to try and traverse the Columbia Mountains. Unfortunately they begin too early before the first warm up, and got skunked at the end by a truly massive Rockies upslope cyclone, and continued unsettled weather thereafter. The interlude between the two weather events held great weather for the team, and although the goal was not accomplished, good times were had. Full trip report linked below.

Wow! I was just going to scan the photos, but I got hooked and read the whole report. Brave trip! Amazing. Great storytelling too. The trip report format is great.

This has to be one of my favorite trip reports of recent years, amazing photography and company. You're lucky to have such great friends!
