Thanks to Amar's forecast, the Austrians, Mark, Scott and I had a few thousand feet of excellent turns between 12500'-9500' on the Wintum glacier. Higher up required crampons (for most folks) due to earlier cool windy weather allowing for no usual staircase. Skiing was possible in the gully to the final 7200' road hairpin turn.

Awesome....pretty smooth up there it sounds..way to hit it...btw any ideas for lassen north side?
