With the road open, the chutes are probably in the best condition I have ever seen them with the road being open. Great snow consistency, no pollen, minimal if any, and the sun cups are moderate at the bottom but soft enough to blast through them. It was even a great workout hiking up the chute in racing boots and carrying 20 pounds worth of skis. Good times!

Oh man, that made me smile. I'm going to have to get up there, that looks like too much fun!
I was confused when you mentioned race skis as I figured you meant skimo stuff. Full DH race skis looks like a way better idea!

I have seen Donnelly ski. He goes just as fast as that video makes it look. Faster maybe!
