Stoked, to ski in the Okanagan of BC in June. Definitely, the threshold for holding a solid snowpack. I underestimated the snowpack and the forecast. I didn't listen to my brother on this one. Hiking in shorts when it's snowing is not fun. Battling slide alder, thunder, lightning and no trail was part of the journey. I like the Jeremy Jones quote. The journey is the reward. I still have to tag the summit no matter where I am. To make it complete.

A little more devils club to get to this ski objective. Unreal that it snowed. Thanks for sharing.

Wow really great video...and freshies no less..psyched for the coming winter!!!

Thanks guys. Have a good one out there.

Heck yeah!  Where exactly is this and whats the elevation of this guy?

Voyageur....Started around 5000ft.... Tops out around 7000 plus feet. This is the Kootenay Boundary area....Near the Big White Ski area in British Columbia....Still learning the in and outs. Tougher snowpack compared to the Coast and Cascades in terms of stabilty....You must have patience. 99 percent of my life has been spent growing up in the Coast mountains of North Vancouver
Squamish and Whistler....But I must admit the dry snow here can be quite the reward.

Awesome, thanks for the info.  Looks like a great zone to me.  Never skied over there but sound like you're the guy(s) to consult if I do!
