Started early Friday morning along the Sourdough Mountain trail with the goal of hitting Elephant Butte if time allowed for it. Snow became consistent at around 5,000ft and the open ridge made for a pretty decent "xc ski" (if you can even call it that with a splitboard). I did underestimate the up and down nature of this route and stopped just short of the last "hump" before dropping down to the pass for Elephant Butte. Gorgeous evening for night photography!
