May 30, 2019, Naches Peak

The weather was great during my morning visit. I drove over Chinook Pass to the eastern rest area /bathroom site. Of course, I stopped at the southern turnout area for a few photos. Yes, I got a nice photo of Zap's Peak which is officially known as 6567'. Zap's has wonderful snow coverage on the east side. I also included a view of the northeast side of Naches Peak.

I parked on the west side of Chinook Pass at the base of Tipsoo Lake. I met Mike who was there for the first time. It was a nice time to give him some local info. There's still good coverage in the Naches Bowl western side and also good coverage on the north tree lines.
