Do you need a shoehorn in your life?
« on: 05/14/19, 05:45 PM »

I know I'm letting myself in for a lot of teasing, but this thing has made my life so much easier.  I got tired of fighting on my wet cold boots, and made this (a) shoe horn out of a discarded soda bottle. It works great, I just carry it on the outside of my liner. No more foot cramps putting on my boot. your welcome.  I’ll work on the picture again, sorry

Yes!!  Mostly cuz the lining has torn away from the stitchdown point high on the heel pocket thereby piling up low when shoving in my heel.  Nice hack..

I think this is a great idea. And you probably know that if Jamie thinks its worth having one of something, he probably also has a spare somewhere in his pack. In this case, I'm witness to both a left and a right shoehorn!

Hmm..  wonder if it (they) would fit over the tongue / overlap, under buckles.  Or maybe serve as Jet Stix of yore under the power strap..

was wondering if a soda bottle would hold up but never got around to trying it.   Thanks!
