Official Notice -Saturday May the fourth (4th)....
Traditional posting - You are now good to go for spring touring season at Alpental. Snowpack has gone thin below 4500' but plenty of fun remains to be had.  Our patrol crews will still be doing on-snow work next week, and there is a fairly extensive maintenance project that begins right away on the Armstrong Lift, but being Cinco weekend and the weather looking good it makes sense to pull the signs and end winter restrictions now.  Thanks for a fantastic closing day on Sunday, super fun and really great vibe. As always, avoid all our equipment and facilities, and remember that lifts may start without warning. The gate at Lot 1 has been reinstalled - It will be closed and locked daily without notice.  Deep appreciation to all who respect our winter season uphill travel restrictions.   Cheers - Gib

Thanks for another great season, even if it started a little late and ended a little early! I can't remember such a consistently long stretch of good skiing (48 consecutive days w/o rain, 50+ if you only paid attention to "during operating hours"). Thanks for the heads-up on unrestricted uphill access, I'm sure many will take advantage of it this weekend ;D

Thanks for the update and as usual for erring on the side of accommodating uphill travel even when some work is still happening on the hill!!
