April 20, 2019, Washington Pass, Birthday Tour

Shocked I'm the first one to post here, half the population of Washington State seemed to be skiing Washington Pass. We did the full tour starting at Blue Lake TH and ending at the Hairpin. Full coverage and only had a few easy to avoid rock bands to get around. The cornice was easily avoided but the drop in from Copper col was a little tricky. We were first to the Cornice col but quickly followed by a steady stream of skiers. During our approach to copper col there seemed to be at least 30 people waiting at to drop onto Madison Ave. Snow was a mix of everything from smooth butter to hard ice. No sign of any avy motion while we were out but several old wet slides.
