Yes, a sunny morning. The sun warmed the surface fast, and we skied most runs not getting the sun exposure. A very quiet day with few folks on the slopes. We saw 2 folks on Silver King around 11:30am and only minor "sluff". We spent the morning and by the time we left we could see a few clouds coming.

An unexpected 4 out of 5 day.

I had anticipated nice weather for today, but the full on 2 out of 2 clear sky was a bonus.  Cool in the morning gave way to sunny warmth as the day went on.  The really unexpected part was the snow.  2 out of 3.  Crystal has received a lot of snow since I was up a week ago as evidenced by the excellent coverage on top of C6 and the lack of rocks down the middle of mainline chute.  The groomers were very nice corduroy covered by a couple inches new.  They held up well all day as they softened just about the time the new got scraped off.  It appears Crystal is done grooming Iceberg for the year based on the size of the bumps.  Was actually a nice bump run this morning.  Just don't know why GV and Pro Course are groomed right up to an ungroomed Ferkberg.  Off piste, there was a lot of avalanche debris and small slides, but it is generally soft enough that any chicken heads just get sheared off.  Powder Bowl was worth a repeat and our first run down Bear Pits was fun.  Second run down BP later in the day was difficult with the warming snow that turned it into thickened mash potatoes.  Green Valley and Snorting Elk were great, but our favorites were top-to-bottoms down Kelly's Gap and Employee Housing.  Most of EH has slide debris, but stick close to the trees on the right side (even cutting into the trees where possible) and it was oh so good.  Lots of warning signs at the top that you might have to walk sections of I-5, but we were able to ski all of it.  Around 1:00, high clouds started to block the sun and that was our cue to leave

No one in C lot today.  Lot's of Elk on the way up and lots of looky-loo drivers on the way down.
