April 11,2019 Hart Mountain Refuge
« on: 04/13/19, 06:50 AM »

Sorry no pictures, (is there a way with an iPad?)but just wanted to let you know, We had very good turns on three inches of new, and then hopped in the hot springs in a raging blizzard.  If for some reason you are around it is sure worth the twenty mile an hour road to go there.  Also saw a monster big buck antelope, and a sage hen. Perfect!

I hope you can share some pics! I spent a month there in the winter treking around in the 80s and wish I could have skied the summit of Hart Mountain! Wild country with no cattle allowed to graze!
