I am snowboarding who is considering buying or building a pair of approach skis. <br><br>I wanted to if anyone on the list has had any experience using them or building a set of there own. <br><br>They appear to be the best alternative to purchasing the full blown split board setup and a better means for getting to the top then snowshoes, espically when side hilling on steeper grade. <br><br>Any opinions or ideas on the subject would be appreciated. <br>
