Skied clockwise around Chair Peak with some detours including the summit of Bryant Peak. Solid overnight refreeze. Clear in the morning with patchy clouds developing in the afternoon. Good corn on southern aspects around 10:30am, HOT in the sun by 11:30am. Met a couple runners on top of Melakwa Pass making good use of the firm morning. Saw a few skiing parties on the CCW traverse a bit later. Not much cold snow left, even in the deepest darkest couloirs. Snow on northern aspects softened nicely and was enjoyable in the early afternoon. Extreme mush after 2pm or so.
This is the day after skiing Shuksan's North Face???!
Strong effort

Also, any skiing to be had off the Bryant summit?

Thanks! There is easy access to the S side of Bryant from Pineapple Basin via a thin couloir E of the summit. It's heavily corniced in the winter but would make a fun ski in the spring. We skied from the summit down the SW ridge and then traversed to Melakwa Lake. Started skiing at about 10:15am and it was still firm, but this could be a great little corn run if timed correctly. I think it's a worthwhile variation if doing the circumnavigation CW in the spring.
