March 22, 2019 Northstar

This was a long day which started with a drive from Susanville,CA and plans to ski at Sugar Bowl. But the upcoming storm was just hitting the upper parts of Sugar Bowl and clouds covered the upper part of the area. So we changed plans and went to Northstar which is further east and had no clouds on the mountain, yet. Yahoo, we found a parking spot near the gondola. They had hard packed spring snow and it was in nice shape. No crowds even though we started much later than usual. We skied the groomed trails and had a good afternoon. The forecast is for more snow and we noticed a few flakes already coming down as we left.

So Northstar is Mission Ridge???😄
