Had a free lift ticket so drove to Whistler once I heard that Harmony Bowl would be opening on the 17th. Whistler and Blackcomb are still experiencing a low snowpack. You cannot ski to the base yet. Harmony opened at noon and there was testosterone flowing in the lift line. The locals came out and thrashed the terrain in Harmony and Smphony Bowl within 2 hours.

From Harmony Ridge, I could see good coverage towards Piccolo and Flute Summit. No one was touring out today. The lower part of the mountain needs more snow so if you plan to access the backcountry along Singing Pass trail, you will have a bit of a hike. Even with the limited coverage and terrain available, the place is crawling with tourists.
