The Chief Sealth Trail makes for a really nice cross-country ski route. There are lots of downhill glides, and a few steepish shots off the sides worth linking turns on. I got about 6mi and 1000vf with all the repeats of fun sections. No worries about cars or plows or salt ruining the snow (only rain and melting to come, I guess). And good city views, from a new perspective. I went out as the short evening dump of snow blew through, perfect timing really. Wind whipping snowflakes to the face as you cut fresh tracks under the powerlines and look out on the softly glowing familiar neighborhood ... yes.

1000 feet of city skiing is a legitimate ski day! Nice work and great photos.
