Stevens- Tue 2/5 Better

It wasn't raining, it was cold but not that cold, and the snow was okay.
We finally got off the groomers but just barely. A little bit of the edges of Tye we're skiable, as was the right hand side of Chief/Kehrs. The groomers themselves weren't as icy as they have been. The backside groomers were firm but edgeable. Venturing out onto Orion was a lesson in futility. Stevens only had about 2 inches of new snow.

It was supposed to be sunny however the Stevens Pass cloud bank was in effect. We did have some sun breaks. There was flat light here and there.
Visibility= 0.7
A lot of people were scared off by the snowy roads and the cold temperatures. The roads weren't bad. in fact from about Gold Bar up it was pretty much bare and dry.
