Feb. 25th Alpental: Alpyback

Another huge day for hitting the backcountry at alpy. Gates opened afer completion of the randonee race around 10:30. Stability was good most everywhere and the snow was nice and light, with plenty of it to cover the crust from last weeks sun event. A little bit windblown and styro in places. Pineapple pass into Great Scott virtually untracked all the way down to source lake, as well as untouched goodies on the entirety of 261.Still plenty to be had out there.......In bounds was crap and crowded....see what happens with the new snow.
