Stevens - Tue 1/22 Gore-Tex day was created by Quick foot
It was a special day because four old friends got together.  What the mountain gave us was pretty much a mediocre day.
Crowd - not a bad line anywhere
Snow - a lot more icy mogul troughs, big snowboard ruts and scraped off areas on the groomers.  It did snow all day so it got better and better.  There was only a trace of new when we got there and probably 2 inches of new when we left.  The snow was warm enough so it melted on you, therefore the Gore-tex day.
Visibility - a lot of flat light, snowing and freezing fog on the goggles.  We skied a lot of tree lines.

I'm glad we went, but the highlight was the socializing not the skiing.

We had some good fun mining buttery turns on moderate groomer pitches that weren't being skied much, particularly in the afternoon as the freezing rain/fog was replaced by what amounted to 4" of fresh before we finally felt soaked through enough to want to bail (though the wife kept saying "one more!" for about an hour before that :-) )
