The fresh storm arrived at 8:15am. Unfortunately all the lifts stopped because of lightening near the top part of the mountain plus high winds which caused all lifts to be on hold. We talked with a few locals who told us to be patient, so we went back to the van and some fresh coffee. At 10am the Stagecoach lift started. We are on the Nevada side of the resort. We made some runs of the Stagecoach lift and learned the Galaxy lift was operating. The new Galaxy lift is a 3 person lift which is built near the trees to provide protection from the winds. It was a snowing, blower, powder day.
