Skied various aspects of Snoqualmie Mountain today. Blues skies and amazing views with mediocre snow conditions.
Easterly flow wasn't nearly as strong as yesterday so it got pretty hot. Southern aspects softened nicely in the afternoon, but there were a lot of natural loose wet slides on steep slopes with rocks/trees. Easy to trigger and large enough to be dangerous.
Some high northern aspects were spared from the rain and held dry but wind-affected snow. There is still quite a bit of snow being blown around up high.
Phantom trees skin track has been sideslipped to death. Ski crampons recommended.
