Skied the Slot and then skinned over to Snow Lake and did the Chair Peak Circumnavigation.

Ski conditions were poor everywhere. North aspects above 5,500' or so didn't have a crust at least, but don't expect powder. All other slopes had a rain crust - usually breakable. Lots of avalanche debris on all aspects from the last rain event. Strong easterly flow kept the Alpental Valley cool and blanketed in a low cloud layer. Didn't see any solar avalanche activity today, but we were not on south facing slopes during the heat of the day.

Melakwa Valley has melted out quite a bit in the past couple weeks exposing some rocks. One short slope didn't have avalanche debris on it and had been softened nicely by the sun, providing the best turns of the day.

Descent from Bryant Peak Col via Pineapple Basin was particularly bad breakable crust.

Thansk for the report aaasen, also great (&useful) photos. I look forward to seeing many more of your exploits.
Rock on Dude.
