森枀”æµ´ is just what this soul needed. Thank you, Snoqualmie, for the immersive experience.

Good skiing in the open on all aspects traveled. Surface hoar atop a thin layer of graupel on most aspects.

Sun and light wind led to a little bit of tree drips, even above 5k.

Only instability was light sluffing of the top 5cm. The sound of skiing was augmented by the diminutive clatter of surface hoar flowing along the slope. Surface snow was gaining cohesion on solar slopes late in the day.

Sunset at the Pass was beautiful. Happy New Year, TAY!

Edit: Added photos of surface hoar and a set of tracks on a 35-40 degree due-south-facing slope that produced a ~D1 sluff, seen during a sunset photo stop.

Bringing out the big bills huh? 

Way quicker to pull a low-thermal-conductivity greenback from my pocket than to wait for the warm crystal card in my pack to thermalize :)!
