Quick TR for now, not home yet.

Snowed almost all day. Some graupel in the mix. Few dim sunbreaks. Below freezing all day.

Raincrust is soft and edgeable at all elevations beneath the night's snow. Tree bombs and tree-drip crust make tree skiing sub-par. Skiing in the open can be excellent on some slopes and breakable/gooey beneath the pow on others, perhaps better with elevation?

Ridgeline profile near 5k found generally increasing density/hardness with depth. 1.5m height of snow, multiple prominent crusts in the snowpack. Only activity in a compression test was in the upper 40 cm.

Only spindrift sluffs observed on highest ridgelines, only loose dry sluffs in the top 5cm while skiing. Some small cornices suggest that windslab is out there. Alpental or WSDOT had a remarkable bombing campaign that lasted until 10:54 am -- must have gotten something moving.
Awesome Charlie and thanks!
