With the lifts starting to run on December 26,it was worth seeing the coverage. The lower slopes were covered by the sledding families. There were a few creeks showing and not flagged yet. The Hyak Face had two lanes mowed by the groomer machines. The face was covered by skiers and snowboarders with clear lines and a few "holes". I skinned along Creek Run. Blowdown run had a few tracks under the Rampart lift. They groomed along the lower west side of the Rampart lift to the base. Skinned up Sarrah's Run which is groomed to the top of the Rampart lift. The next storm should open more terrain and fill the creeks and "holes".
