Hiked here more than a decade ago and always thought it'd be a cool zone to shred. Thanks to a buddy's truck and phenomenal driving skills, we were able to drive to about 1100m. That FSR is barely a road. Skins on at ~1200m. Meager coverage below 1500m. Everything south-facing below 1800m (pretty much everything in the zone) either had a crust or was hot pow but still very rippable. We lapped the 350m pitch from the summit and it was money. Beautiful bluebird day in a zone I've been wanting to hit for a while.
