WA Cascades West Slopes South (Mt Rainier)

It was a nice sunny morning for a walk with a light breeze. There was a patch of snow at 6870' just below Pebble Creek trail crossing, then mostly continuous snow above 7200'. It looked and felt hard and icy but around mid day skied like freshly melting frozen corn with minimal sun cupping. I saw 20 or so other skiers trying to get October for their TAY.
