Rusty Knees and I went for October turns.  In the parking lot we met Steve of Centralia, who strengthened our party to 3.  Very mild as we started, then winds picked up.  There were intermittent whiteout conditions but no rain.  Snow was quite dirty but carved okay, and lower temps. kept grabbiness at bay.  The forecasted 1/2" fresh had blown into hollows, allowing us to aim for little puffs of fresh.  We did two runs on upper PG, making big circles around a few monster crevasses,  then returned via the remnants above Pebble Creek; some ugly chickenheads near the finish.  Unlike last month there was only one other ski party we saw, and almost no hikers.
133 months for me.  Thanks Steve for the company.  And cheers to Mr. Rusty Don, who bounced back after knee injuries to remain my TAY buddy for 10 years now.
