Snow at 4k, October 2, 2018.

Just noted this in the Seattle Forecast Discussion:

"The snow level lowered to near 4000 feet early this evening
behind a cold front. This caused the rain to switch over to snow
at Stevens Pass, where a couple of inches of wet snow fell."

Sure enough, it's true (NB -- the telemetry is less than clear, but the photo... ):

I have skied 20" of light powder off Table Mt in September (~ 1973). However, every year about this time I think of this Oct 5, 2007 thread and I just have to peruse it once more.  It is so cool: www.turns-all-year.com/skiing_snowboardi...x.php?topic=7892.0.  It  must have been an amazing first day.
