It looks like what ever new snow fell from the week before had melted. The sun cups were back but not as bad as it could have been. Having intended to ski the Sholes Glacier, the large amount of blue ice that would have mandated me having bring crampons resulted in having to change plans. It was also nice to have some unplanned company.

With the longest stretch of snow providing around 280 vertical feet that is only 3.7 miles from the parking lot, four laps will suffice to get a solid 1000 plus vertical feet of skiing/riding in. The skiing was a lot better at around the 5 mile mark from the parking lot providing between 150 and 200 vertical feet per lap.

You really do a good job finding the best skiing up there. Jamie and I skied the "postage stamp" at Heather Meadows in the rain and it wasn't nearly as good as the skiing your video shows.
