The heat has been taking it's toll on the Squak route. The snowbridge across the crack at 8800' is rapidly melting out. There's a bit more route finding than in years past in the following couple hundred feet up the mountain. We skied great snow down the Roman Wall, had some slightly annoying runnels from 9k-8k, and then smooth sailing all the way down! Pretty superb 5000' of skiing for August!
