The proverbial long run for a short slide. Not really skiable till around the weather station and heavily suncupped all the way to the rim. Lots of dirt in the snow. Soft enough to be enjoyable but a long carry up the trail and tricky on the moraine up and down. Great views of course. Never ceases to amaze me how people totally unprepared for the mountain get up and down safely. A little weather and there would have been some very unhappy hikers.
