The three of us parked at the White River campground; road up towards Sunrise is still blocked.
The trail is in good shape except for one blowdown. Patchy snow a mile before Glacier Basin. We opted to hike to the basin itself. Swapped to ski boots and skinned up the first 1k and then switched to booting it.
Went up to 9200' and had lunch in light winds and beautiful visibility.
Slots were starting to make themselves visible but only one was open.
The top 2k was sublime; smooth as silk and so forgiving. All while you get to gaze at magnificent beauty. The bottom 1k was stickier and bumpier but still enjoyable.
We saw two other solo skiers on the Interglacier.
As we hike back we were passed by 2 climbers returning from doing Liberty Ridge in sub-24 hours. Perfect weather for their "day trip".

I assume you started up the summer trail. How was the creek/river crossing?

Yes we took the summer trail. Crossing the White River was simple as we went higher up valley and crossed where it was continuous snow.
We went maybe 1/4 mile up from where you pop out of the trees into Glacier Basin.
