Hit up Little T yesterday with some friends. We started at 8:30 at Fryingpan Creek. Snow patches from the TH, not worth skinning until 2.5 or so miles in. A group that started before us put in a nice skin track up to Meany Crest. Fryingpan Glacier is nicely filled in with maybe 2 sagging bridges to cross. Same was true for the Whitman. Not a lot of rockfall or debris on the whitman, which was nice. Hit the top of the Snowfield at 11K about 4PM (we were moving pretty slow). The top 1000ft of skiing was pretty magical. A bit baked, but not grabby. The ski down from Meany was also quite great considering the late time.

It was a great day, a bit warm with no breeze most of the day, but skiing was much better than expected, and it was fun to explore a new part of the mountain for me.

Sweet.  Most of the time we take a big loop towards Pan Handle Gap on on the return.  You didn't mention the use of bikes so I'm assuming the road to the trailhead is open at least that far?

We were the group that set the skin track ahead of you on Tuesday. What a day! :D

Yes, the road is open to (and past) the Fryingpan trailhead.

Thanks for the skin track!
