Got in a full round of golf this evening. Yes, there were a few carries. Yes, the last few feet to the top of Wildside were spicy. And yes, we skied to within 50 paces of the car (and more importantly, the recycling). I picked-up no fewer than a dozen empty beer cans (and was rewarded with the discovery of a full, cold one), but the weirdest find was an empty tin can of artichoke hearts. The snow was dirty, the sap was sticky and my skins may never be the same after detouring through the trees for a view of tonight's sunset on the way to the top of PC. But to ski top to bottom @ West on Mother's Day? Well that's simply amazing :D
