Picture perfect spring bluebird day. Excellent skiing all day if you like spring skiing and are willing to work for it. Only downer was they completely closed the Alpine early because of extreme solar heating. The Glacier and Spankeys was also closed. 7th Heaven liftline bumps became great around noon, as did all the steeps like Cougar Chutes, Sudan....when the top shut down, I enjoyed the wonderful spring bumps on Staircase and The Bite.

When Blackcomb Pro Patrol pulls the plug around 1:00pm at a bombed, and skier compacted resort - then anyone considering being on or under anything over 30
Degrees in the backcountry right now is playing with Fire, and better get up early and be drinking parking lot beers by noon. Pass the word!
