February 11-12, 2006, Eldorado Peak

Gobbled up the last of the high pressure with a quick overnighter to Eldorado. Skied Eldo and traversed towards Klawatti. Out on the Inspiration we were engulfed by the soup. After trying to wait it out for a while we cruised back to camp under a darkening sky. Light snow had us packing hurriedly and we headed out. By the time we were driving out of Marblemount the sky had cleared and Eldo was shining with no trace of cloud on it. Oh well. Classic ski terrain, can't wait to go back.

Nice job - thanks for sharing. After I slept in and leisurely made my way through the clearcut on Kendall Stump on Sunday, I wondered if we'd be seeing reports from more ambitious folks who were surely out taking advantage of easy snow travel and good weather.
