Shaded, northerly aspects held good snow into the afternoon between 3250' & 5240'. Freezing level seemed to top-out around 4k, powder persisted above 5k but conditions varied below that. Got an early enough start to finish the day at Silver Fir. No signs of the chairman or his Tercel today :D
